Couples and solo diners often end up at loose two-tops in the middle of the room. The pocket booth gives them a seat against the wall instead: two short booths face each other, each with upholstered side wings as tall as the back, forming a semi-private pocket.

On the same wall length, two-person pockets usually add more tables than long booths, which helps breakfast and coffee trade where most parties are one or two people.
