Biscuit tufting is the back you remember from coffee shops and steakhouses: a tidy grid of puffy squares, stitched rather than buttoned. No buttons means nothing to catch crumbs or pop off, which makes it the most practical tufted back for a busy diner.
Design details
- Grid of stitched squares across the full back, no buttons
- Smooth seat cushion with contrast piping
- Shown in caramel; contract vinyl or leather to order
- Dark wood plinth
Caramel and tan read as warm and slightly upmarket; cherry red and black read as pure diner. Either way the squares hide small marks better than a flat back.
Options: square size, cover color and material, piping color, length, back height, single or double-sided.
Each square is stitched through the cover and foam, so the pattern stays crisp after years of use. A horseshoe or U-booth can be built in the same biscuit pattern for corners.
