Diamond quilting is the most dressed-up back a diner booth can wear. This one uses a 45-degree diamond grid about 10 in (25 cm) across the diagonal, with a small metal button at each intersection, and keeps the seat smooth and unquilted so it stays comfortable and easy to clean.
Design details
- 59 in (150 cm) long, 18 in (46 cm) seat height, 22 in (56 cm) seat depth
- 39 in (100 cm) overall height
- 45-degree diamond quilting with buttons at intersections; brass-tone shown, chrome or nickel finish on request
- Metal cap along the top of the back and contrast piping on all edges
- Dark wood plinth
Shown in a light textured cover; in a diner we would specify a contract vinyl in cream, red or black. Buttons collect more crumbs than plain stitching, so this is best in evening and lounge areas rather than the breakfast rush.
Options: diamond size, button finish or no buttons, cover color, cap finish, length.
